Cooking facilities
Kitchens are equipped with freezer, oven, stove-grill, microwave and an electric kettle. Students are expected to provide their own pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Cutlery Packs are available form Reception for £20.00 (plate, bowl, knife, fork, spoons, mug, glass and saucepan). There is a small shop within one minute walk and a large supermarket within 15 minutes walk (2 minutes bus ride) of the residence.
Facilities
There is a communal room (The Atlas) which has a large TV, pool table and table football as well as sofas and tables for studying and relaxing. Sidney Webb also has a coin operated laundry. Each bedroom has a data link to the LSE network |and there is a well equipped computer room. IT facilities require registration|.
Telephones
Every student may have access to his/her own telephone.
Cleaning and bed linen
The communal areas of the hall are cleaned weekly but residents at Sidney Webb House are responsible for cleaning their own rooms.
All bed linen (sheets, blankets, duvets, etc) and towels must be provided and laundered by the students. Bedding packs are available from Reception for £30.00 (duvet, duvet cover, pillow, pillow case, fitted bed sheet and towel).
Vacation periods
Students living at Sidney Webb House have the option to choose between a 40 week contract which covers the Christmas and Easter vacations or a 50 week contract that in addition covers the summer vacation period as well.

Single - £129.50 to £144.20 per week
Couples - £163.10 to £175.70 per week
Common Room Fee - £10 per term
