What is the classroom schedule?
The programme will be offered in a modular format at the LSE's state-of-the art New Academic Building in London as well as in international cities to highlight aspects of global management. There will be a total of seven classroom modules (one-two weeks each) in 10 weeks or less, scheduled over 17 months at LSE and at strategic locations around the world. Five modules will take place at LSE; two will take place overseas to highlight topical global business issues and to leverage LSE's academic partnerships and alumni network for prominent speakers and experts. Overseas modules will be one week in length. A comprehensive learning technology platform will maximise intersession communication and assignments between modules.

Where will the five LSE modules be held?
The LSE modules will take place in our state-of-the art New Academic Building at 54 Lincoln's Inn Field, which was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in October 2008.
Where will the two overseas modules be held?
The overseas modules for the cohort entering in 2012 will be held in Singapore in summer 2013 and in Istanbul in November 2013. The theme for the Singapore module is "The Asia Miracle" with an emphasis on Marketing and Strategy. The theme for the Istanbul module is "Foreign Direct Investment and Emerging Markets".
Why did we choose Singapore and Istanbul for the overseas modules?
A global management degree must include an in-depth study of Asia as the seat of global power shifts to the East. Singapore has long served as an exemplar of "the Asia miracle", while Istanbul represents the point where "East meets West" in more ways than simply business. LSE has a long-standing association with Asia and is ideally suited to give students peerless access to the region. Our faculty (the LSE Asia Research Centre, LSE Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, LSE IDEAS, etc.) are respected and widely consulted for their expertise in the region. As the alma mater of many public leaders in Asia, we have academic, corporate and professional links throughout the continent. There are over 15,000 LSE alumni in Southeast Asia who are represented by extremely active country-based alumni groups in Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Istanbul, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
