Biography
Jingjing Weng is a PhD candidate and graduate teaching assistant at the Employment Relations and Organizational Behaviour Group, Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research focuses on the human resource management, performance and payment researches in organizations in China. She holds an Mphil in Land Economy from University of Cambridge, an MSc in International Employment Relations and Human Resources Management from LSE, and a BA in Economics (Distinction) from China Youth University for Political Sciences in Beijing. She is fluent in Mandarin/Chinese and English.
Research Interests
Subject areas: Human resource management in China, reward/payment systems, performance management, job satisfaction.
Her current research focuses on the human resource management, including the performance management, rewarding, and social relationship in organizations in China. The effectiveness of performance related pay, how to best motive employees in China, and what do Chinese employees care most are some key issues she is looking at.
