Reijo Kupiainen
Reijo Kupiainen (Ph.D) is a post doctoral researcher at the University of Tampere. His research has focused on media literacy, media education and visual culture. His ongoing research project is entitled Youth, Literacies, and Changing Media Environment, funded by the Academy of Finland 2009-2011.
Kaarina Nikunen
Kaarina Nikunen (Dr. Soc. Sc) is a post doctoral researcher at the department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Tampere. Nikunen has expertise in ethnographic audience and fan studies, feminist media studies and in research of ethnicity and transnational media.
Annikka Suoninen
Annikka Suoninen (Ph.D.) is working at the Institute for Educational Research at the University of Jyväskylä. She has done research especially on media uses among children and young people. Currently she is participating in the project Global Comparative research on Youth Media Participation; funded by the Academy of Finland.
