Student societies are obliged to inform the School about all those events which involve any speakers. The School supports LSESU student societies and recognises that they organise a range of exciting and informative events for their members and the wider LSE community, but societies have a responsibility to ensure the School is aware of the events they are organising including details of all speakers who they arrange to speak on campus.
This information is required at least five working days before the event is due to take place, but as much notice as possible is recommended. Until this information is received then the room booking will remain provisional, and if the information is not received with five working days to go to the event, the booking will be cancelled.
If your room booking is not for an 'organised event' but for an internal society meeting such as a planning or committee meeting, please just email back the provisional room booking email confirming this to conferences@lse.ac.uk|.
