This event marks the launch of a report 'Child Poverty in the Developing World', produced for UNICEF. This research provides the first scientific estimates of the extent and depth and child poverty in the developing world.
This event is free and open to all but a ticket is required. Tickets requests will be accepted from Thursday 9th October 2003.
Members of the general public, LSE alumni and LSE staff will be able to request tickets via an online booking which will made live from Thursday 9th October.
LSE students will be able to collect tickets from the LSESU reception from 10am on Thursday 9th October 2003.
There will also be a one day conference the following day, Wednesday 22nd October 2003 entitled 'Children's Rights and Child Poverty' which will examine the results of the study in more detail. To find out more about this conference including how to register. please click here .
