Howard Davies is adviser to the China Banking Regulatory Commission and to the China Securities Regulatory Commission. In this lecture, he will review the development of financial markets in China and set out the changes needed to ensure they support the next phase of transition to a market economy. This lecture is in conjunction with the LSESU Chinese Society.
