LSESU Drama & Music Societies musical

Date: Wednesday 17 - Saturday 20 March 2010
Time:  7.30pm (17, 18, 19 March), 4pm (20 March)
Venue:  Old Theatre, Old Building

A musical inspired by the play 'Pygmalion', written by LSE's very own George Bernard Shaw. This is a rags to riches tale of a cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, who meets speech expert Henry Higgins. Higgins takes on a bet from friend Colonel Pickering to transform Eliza into a lady in just six months. Full of recognisable songs such as 'Wouldn't It Be Loverly', 'On The Street Where You Live', and 'I Could Have Danced All Night', and starring LSE's Director, Howard Davies, this is going to be a musical extravaganza!

This event is open to all but a ticket required. Tickets cost £5 Drama/Music society members and children under 18, £6 for LSE students and £7 for the general public. Tickets will be available on Hougton Street from 8 March or on the door. Entry is on a first come, first served basis.
