Drawing on his vast experiences as a journalist and editor of one of the country's biggest newspapers, Peter Preston's lecture is particularly topical in the light of recent events at the News of the World.

Peter Preston is a columnist for the Guardian and Observer. He was editor of the Guardian from 1975 to 1995.
