This lecture is brought to you by the award winning LSESU Islamic Society and is part of the Society's annual Discover Islam Week.
Ustadh Zayd ul Islam is the founding-director of Al Buruj Press, a national grassroots educational initiative. Ustadh Zayd holds a BA in History from SOAS, is a Hafidh of Qur'an and has studied Islamic Sciences at the prestigious al Azhar University in Cairo as well as gaining teaching licenses (Ijazas) from leading scholars from the UK and abroad, such as Shaykh Akram Nadwi (Oxford University) and Shaykh Ahmed Ali Surati (r) (India).
This event is free and open to all LSE staff and students. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. For any queries email su.soc.islamic@lse.ac.uk|.
