My focus of research is on the relationship between the public and constitutional law of the EU, on the one hand, and its economic law, on the other. I am particularly interested to see how legal procedures are restructured to deal with transnational regulation of risk, sector specific challenges and how these are deployed to justify new forms of political community.
I am the editor (with Professor Tony Arnull) of 'European Law Review' and the co-editor of 'Jurist Europe'. I am on the editorial Board of 'Journal of Business Law Education', 'Croatian Yearbook of European Legal Studies', 'Fundação Getulio Vargas Law Review'.
