Alessandro joined LSE's Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment in October 2010. As part of his postdoctoral fellowship, he is currently investigating the role of fairness motives in sustaining cooperative behaviour in the global commons (e.g. coping with climate change). This is tackled through a combination of evolutionary game theory models, experiments and simulations, in an effort to shed light on how inequity concerns affect environmental management.
