Carola Frege studies the global transformation of national employment systems and their impact on workers and their interest representation (unions, works councils). Another interest is the different social science traditions in employment relations theories and research in the US and Europe. Her latest research focuses on the impact of liberal and coordinated economies on workplace diversity and racism.
