Ms Sorenson’s main research interests focus on health technology policy, governance and regulation, health politics and political analysis, agenda- and priority-setting, comparative health policy, health care reform, and public health policy and law. She has undertaken research on the governance, politics, and methods of health technology assessment, the financing and diffusion of medical technology, and the governance of global health risks.
Ms Sorenson also serves as Deputy Editor of the journal, Globalization and Health, and is part of the Executive Committee of the European Health Technology Institute for Socio-Economic Research (EHTI).
Prior to joining LSE, Corinna was a Senior Associate at The Lewin Group and a Senior Policy and Planning Analyst at the US Food and Drug Administration, both in Washington DC. In addition, she has held other health policy research positions at Stanford University and the University of Michigan Health System.
