My major interest is in applied international trade economics, mainly in services but also in goods. My writing covers most particularly the comparative advantage of services trade, productivity in services and the various regulatory aspects of services trade. My papers also cover the international services trade negotiations of the GATS, international trade in Asia, transatlantic trade and PTAs in services. My current research covers both academic as well as policy-related issues in services trade.
