Dr Flikschuh works on the political philosophy of Immanuel Kant and its relationship with contemporary political liberalism. She has a special focus on Kant's cosmopolitanism and current debates on cosmopolitanism/global distributive justice. She is interested in the relationship between moral and political values and notions of global political responsibility. Her related interests include contemporary human rights discourse, theories of property rights, and the history of modern political thought.
