Global Master's in Management

About the MSc programme

The Global Masters in Management (or Global MiM) is a new executive programme which is designed for working professionals who do not wish to interrupt their careers while pursuing a top management qualification.

The programme is designed to develop and augment both your general management skills and academic abilities to help you grow in your current business role, as well as open opportunities for accelerated career progression. The programme will prepare you for positions of greater responsibility via a unique curriculum which will give you the core skills needed to be an excellent globally-minded manager with the valuable cross cultural awareness skills and in-depth knowledge of the global nature of business. You will gain a perspective on management which only an institution which operates at the forefront of the social sciences can offer. Above all, the programme will teach you how to think critically, how to think differently and how to think for yourself.

The programme combines the intellectual rigour for which LSE is respected all over the world together with the practical application and immediate business focus of an MBA. It consists of nine courses delivered in one or two week modules spaced over 17 months plus a capstone project paper (the dissertation) due after the final classroom meeting. Five modules will take place at LSE. Two modules will take place at international locations chosen for their relevance to topical issues in global management. Between each module, a learning technology platform will maximize inter-session communication and assignments, with virtual revision sessions to prepare for assessed work and exams.
