Thanks to the support of alumni and friends, the Campaign for LSE| reached its £100 million goal by 31 December 2007. The Campaign has transformed the face of the School, supporting students, developing new campus facilities and producing innovative global research.

We are delighted that so many of you have chosen to share that same vision and ambition in offering your support to the School and so we would like to thank the 12,000 alumni and friends who supported the Campaign.

The Campaign has made a real difference to all aspects of life at the School. To find out how your support has made an impact, visit Impact of your support| or download our Campaign for LSE celebration brochure|.

However, whilst we will certainly celebrate the end achievements of this campaign, our long-term vision for the expansion and development of LSE is only just beginning...

'The School's alumni and friends from around the world are proving that, through charitable partnerships, we can secure the School's role in building knowledge about the global forces that are changing every aspect of how we live.'

Howard Davies, LSE Director
