Careers Workshops for Economic History Students

Where can your degree take you?

Economic History students develop a wide range of skills which makes them extremely well-placed to enter the job market after graduating. The ability to analyse complex historical and numerical data, think critically, develop original arguments and communicate them puts our students at a great advantage when it comes to choosing a career path.

Our students go on to work in finance and consultancy, accountancy, law, the civil service, teaching, research, digital marketing, with NGOs and charities, develop their own businesses and more.

Our students also have access to a departmental careers consultant from LSE Careers, as well as tailored careers workshops and one-to-one sessions. In 2022-23 our consultants are Caroline Lisser (undergraduates) and Nisha Aubeeluck (master's students).

The programme of tailored workshops for Economic History master's and BSc students is below. Booking links on CareersHub will be circulated before each workshop.
