We are pleased to announce details of our 2019-20 LSE Economic History Photo Competition.
This year the theme is Poor Relief.
The deadline for submission is 24 January 2020 (end of Week 1).
The competition is open to all students enrolled in the department, undergraduate, master's and PhD.
Winners will be announced at the at the department dinner in Week 5 of Lent Term, where there will also be an exhbition of the shortlisted photographs.
Prizes
The winner will receive a voucher for a one-day-course with a professional photographer (value: £165!) and a book voucher to the value of £50.
The two runner ups will each receive book vouchers to the value of £25.
The winning picture and the two runners up will be put on display in the department.
Rules and how to enter:
Submitted photographs must have a clear and evident link to the role of poor relief in economic history – no additional explanatory text is permitted.
How to submit: Email your photo in .jpg format to Tracy Keefe ( t.j.keefe@lse.ac.uk) by 2pm, 24 January 2020.
There is a maximum of two submissions per entrant.
Participants must be enrolled in a BSc, MSc or PhD programme taught at the Economic History Department of the LSE.
Submissions will be judged by a mixed panel of students and staff.
