Join us for our second LSE Chill of the academic year! Come along and enjoy a night of live music with free drinks and snacks while they last.
The line-up includes:
Rosemary (Jiaqi)
Rosemary will be performing a song by Faye Wong - the queen of Hong Kong popular music! The Cantonese song, which is originally from The Cranberries (‘Dreams’), also appeared in the famous film ‘Chungking Express’ (1994).
Satisfaction
Introducing Satisfaction! In a desperate attempt to follow in the footsteps of the famous Mick Jagger, who dropped out of the LSE to continue with The Rolling Stones, Satisfaction formed after meeting in the ‘Made in Dagenham’ pit band. Now with the addition of a lead guitarist, get ready for a ‘Champagne Supernova’ which may leave you feeling ‘Numb’!
Bad Lay-Dee
Bad Lay-Dee is a singer, rapper and spoken word artist originally from Birmingham, now based in London. As an inimitable vocalist and lyricist their performance style is guaranteed to hold a crowd - tackling subjects from segregation to gender and veganism. Bad Lay-Dee will definitely keep you entertained with their warm brummie twang!
David Barratt-Due
Grieg and Debussy are composers often known for their highly expressive pieces. David, a Norwegian student on the double Master-programme between PKU and LSE gives us a tiny glimpse of their musicianship through pieces from Suite Bergamasque and Lyric Pieces.
LSE chill is a free performance night for LSE staff and students hosted by LSE Arts at Cafe 54, New Academic Building, on the last Friday of every month (in term time).

Just economics and politics? Think again. While LSE does not teach arts or music, there is a vibrant cultural side to the School - from weekly free music concerts in the Shaw Library, and an LSE orchestra and choir with their own professional conductors, various film, art and photographic student societies, the annual LSE photo prize competition, the LSE Festival and artist-in-residence projects. For more information please view the LSE Arts website.
