A top prize winner in the International Rubinstein cello Competition held in Berlin, a finalist in the Pierre Fournier Award and a Villa Musica scholarship recipient, British-Persian cellist Ariana Kashefi (@arianakashefi) has been praised for her innate musicianship and captivating stage presence. She is in high demand as a chamber musician and soloist performing in such venues as the Wigmore Hall, Pierre Boulez Saal and  Berlin Philharmonie.

Ariana has a true love and passion for chamber music and regularly performs with many renowned artists. Though she regularly performs classical cello repertoire, she is also very keen to premiere new works and has had works composed for her. Ariana frequently performs as a soloist with orchestras across Europe and recently appeared as a soloist live on BBC Radio 3 In Tune. She is regularly invited as guest principal cellist with orchestras including Britten Sinfonia, RTÉ concert orchestra, London Chamber Orchestra, Berlin Camerata and West-East Divan orchestra.
