Q: What is your favourite thing/ favourite moment about/at the Hellenic Observatory?

Clearly my colleagues. Arriving in London in the midst of Brexit and COVID has not always been easy. So the collegiality and friendship in these times has been incredible.

Q: What do you like most about your work?

In a sense, I like that I’m in a position in which I can theorize from everyday experiences and mundane observations and draw broader conclusions from them.

Q: What is your favourite place on campus?

That would be the terrace on the 6th floor.

Q: What advice would you give to your 22-year-old self?

 I’d say ‘Consider studying anthropology.’

Q: If you could have dinner with a famous Greek person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Probably Giannis Antetokounmpo. I’d be curious to hear what he makes of Greece.

Q: What are you currently reading?

I’m currently re-reading ‘The Happiness Industry’ by Will Davies.

Q: How do you relax? With a book, a TV show, music?

TV shows and movies, probably, yes.
