About me

I worked for 25 years in the financial services industry in London before taking a Masters course and then studying for a doctorate at the LSE. My original undergraduate degree was in classical languages and philosophy, and I subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

My research interests are the interplay between moral values and rational explanation, media representation of contested issues, trust and accountability, studying these in diverse domains such as climate change and autonomous vehicles.
