Jessica Rea is a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her research focuses on exploring the relationship between social inequality and psychological, social and cultural processes. She is interested in developing the understanding of how power dynamics influence intergroup interaction, and whether psychological differences and similarities between groups can be leveraged to promote social equality and cohesion.
Jessica obtained her BA in Psychology with a focus on Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of South Africa, while simultaneously working in London’s financial services sector. She then completed her MSc in Applied Social Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL) before completing her PhD in Psychology at the same university.
