About me

PhD Supervisors: Dr Ilka Gleibs and Professor Liam Delaney

Robin is a PhD student, a behavioural scientist and a psychologist – specialized in social, organisational and economic psychology and interested in new data science methods. In his research, he investigates how social identity influences economic outcomes, financial and investment behaviour. He is specifically interested in how social identity-based communication and leadership strategies can improve financial and investment decisions and allow more people to participate in wealth accumulation. His research is situated in debates on wealth inequality, stock market participation and pension reforms in Germany and beyond. He holds a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation [Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes].

As a manager at a leading global management consulting firm, he led numerous projects for international corporates with focus on strategy, large-scale transformation and innovative behavioural interventions.

He graduated with first class honours in Psychology (MSc, BSc) from Freie Universität Berlin with research stays in London, Oxford, Vienna and Hong Kong.#
