PhD Supervisors: Dr Matteo Galizzi and Dr Barbara Fasolo
Virginia is behavioural scientist focused on how psychological insights can help individuals lead happier and healthier lives. Her doctoral research focuses on how stereotyped temporal fluctuations in personality and cognitive traits can be leveraged to promote engagement in health and wellbeing services.
She holds a research MSc specializing in Neuroeconomics from Maastricht University, completing her Master’s thesis research at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). She holds a B.A. in Cognitive Science and a BS in Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
Prior to her PhD work at the London School of Economics, she conducted research in various academic contexts including medicine, cognitive science, and management.
