The success of our teaching depends on a dialogue between students and teachers, a collaboration which helps both you and us to excel. This means we ask to hear your voice in different ways – the two committees for this are the Staff-Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) and the Departmental Teaching Committee (DTC). At these committees we discuss a wide range of issues, most of which are suggested by students. Our aim is to listen to your views and take action where we can – we are committed to Putting Students 1st so that we can help to ensure that your time at the LSE is the best it can be.
Sometimes a change can be implemented straight away. But other times a change may take some time to filter through the School’s system and so will only have an impact on generations of students after those who proposed the change.

WE DID..we have doubled our office hours including adding meetings for one-to-one tutorials to discuss feedback

WE DID...in addition to our Staff-Student Liaison Committee and Departmental Teaching Committee, we have introduced meetings between student representatives and Programme Directors and Programme Managers

WE DID...we have introduced programme-specific seminars that give you the chance to interact with teachers and peers and learn in a relaxed informal environment

WE DID...we have introduced Dissertation Lab Seminars to share discussions of challenges and solutions with your Supervisor and peers
