About the multicampus course

Did you know that as an MSc student you can apply to join CIVICA’s flagship Europeanship Multicampus Course?

CIVICA, an alliance of 10 leading social science universities across Europe, offers LSE postgraduate students the opportunity to participate and collaborate with nearly 200 other students from across the CIVICA alliance to critically examine European policy challenges.

How will the multicampus course work?

The course will be delivered synchronously across all the campuses of the CIVICA consortium as a series of live online lectures, a policy paper training camp, and integrated local activities.

On top of lectures, students will work in teams across countries and disciplines, with the aim of completing a final capstone project assignment. This innovative course is designed and taught jointly by a team of professors from various CIVICA universities.

The four thematic modules are:

  1. Globalisation and Economic Shocks
  2. Democracy, governance and populism in the EU
  3. Environment, Sustainability, the EU Green Deal
  4. Digitalisation and Innovation in the New Europe.
