Esinam Yevu is the Programme for African Leadership (PfAL) Officer at the Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa. Her work supports the growth journeys of master’s and PhD students accepted onto the PfAL programme. She holds an MSc in Media & Communications from LSE and a BSc. (Hons) in Business Administration from Ashesi University, with study-abroad experiences at the Wharton School (UPenn), Swarthmore College and Bryn Mawr College.
Esinam’s focus on co-creating transformative opportunities for minorities stems from her experience as a youth development professional with 9 years of post-study experience and 16 years of volunteer expertise. Her contributions in Sudan, Uganda, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, the U.S., and the U.K. have positively influenced the educational and professional development of over 60,853 young leaders. Before LSE, Esinam served as a Career Launch Pathfinder with The Room, a subsidiary of the African Leadership Group (ALG). At LSE, Esinam’s work promotes priorities 1 and 3 of the 2030 strategy, i.e. educating for impact and developing LSE for everyone.
