Eunice Asantewaa Hansen-Sackey is the Research Grants Officer at the Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa. Her work at the institute focuses on coordinating post-award research projects and administration of the Institute’s research grants to ensure the smooth running of the research projects focused on the African continent. She is the primary contact for all research grant-related queries, liaising between project partners.
Prior to joining LSE, Eunice led projects focused on supporting climate-smart businesses in Africa with access to finance and partnerships. She also managed communication and fundraising announcements for health, agric and other tech startups in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and Egypt
Eunice holds an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also has BA (Hons) and Master’s Degrees in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and the University of Ghana respectively. She is passionate about research, project management and leveraging academic research to monitor the progress of development and identify developmental gaps, particularly in Africa.
