Bregtje Kamphuis

Bregtje Kamphuis is an Associate Director in Health Policy at the Medical Technology Research Group (MTRG) at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Bregtje’s research focuses on comparative health policy, healthcare financing, pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement policies, and access to medicines. She also works on projects looking at appropriateness and quality of care in specific disease areas such as asthma, autism and migraine. In her role at the MTRG she is closely involved in conducting research, drafting reports and journal articles, and responsible for the design, management, and delivery of research outputs.

She has worked at the London School of Economics and Political Science since 2012. Prior to joining the MTRG, she was a Project Manager and Researcher at LSE Consulting for six years, managing projects and research in social policy for international organizations, governments, and private clients. Bregtje has an MSc in International Health Policy (LSE), an MSc in Law, Anthropology and Society (LSE), and a BA in Liberal Arts from the University College of Utrecht.
