Tobias joined CPEC in 2020. He primarily works in the Economics of Health Systems and Interface with Social Care (ESCHRU) research unit. Recent projects have been focused on the impact of social care supply on hospital discharge times, the various effects of the pandemic on social care systems and several analyses of local authority social care data.
Tobias holds a BSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from LSE and hopes to apply econometrics to a wider range of issues. He has research interests in the fields of health, environmental, and development economics. His undergraduate thesis focused on the effects of air pollution on wellbeing, using data from the Understanding Society Study.
