About me

Andreas is a PhD candidate in Economics at LSE. His research interests lie in the areas of Industrial Organisation and Environmental Economics. He is particularly interested in changes in the market structure of different industries, including rising market power of big firms and its implications for innovation and productivity growth.

Before starting the PhD at LSE, Andreas worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Economic Performance on topics around innovation and productivity growth with a focus on the EU and UK. He previously gained experience in economic consulting and banking.

Andreas holds an MSc in Economics from LSE and a BSc in Economics from the University of Mannheim.
