About me

I am an MRes/PhD candidate in Economics and a student representative for MRes Year 1. My research focuses on the long-term consequences of political phenomena. I am particularly interested in how political and governance environments affect human capital outcomes and civic participation. My current projects are on the distributional consequences of forced migration in Lithuania and the effects of media on citizen engagement in the UK.

Before starting my PhD, I was a consultant at the World Bank Bureaucracy Lab, where I worked on an impact evaluation of youth mental health services in Lithuania. I hold a MASc in Development, Data and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Throughout my studies, I have tutored in economics and related subjects.
