Javad is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics at the LSE, where he received MRes Economics in 2020. Before joining LSE, he received his BSc and MSc from the Sharif University of Technology. His research interests lie in the field of applied econometrics. He is interested in using empirical methods to answer questions across a broad range of topics.  Currently, he is studying political economy effects of immigration.
