Patrick is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. His research interests are in the 'micro-for-macro' space: exploring the implications of micro-heterogeneity for macroeconomic outcomes, and designing policies that take these implications as a constraint.
He previously worked as an economist at the Bank of England, contributing to research on Brexit and the UK's productivity slowdown, and has held various other roles in consulting and research assistant positions. He holds an MPhil in Economics from Oxford, as well as a Bachelor of Economics with first class Honours and a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of New South Wales.
