About me

Stephan is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. His main research interests span the questions of how non-rational expectations and informational frictions shape the business cycle, how micro-level heterogeneity impacts macroeconomic policy and how structural and cyclical factors shape the labour market. His previous work looks at the interactions between fundamental volatility and data uncertainty in a rational inattention framework and examines its implications for monetary policy.

Stephan holds a MPhil in Economics (distinction) from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Economics (distinction) from the University of Warwick.
