About me

Philipp Dreyer obtained his PhD from the LSE in 2019 with a thesis on the influence of partisan attachments on mass-elite linkages in Western Europe. His academic research interests are in party politics, political psychology and democratic representation. Philipp has taught European politics and comparative politics at the LSE’s Government Department and has been teaching at the School of Public Policy since 2019. 

After completing his PhD, Philipp joined the Civil Service as a social research analyst. He is now a senior research officer in the Serious and Organised Crime Research and Analysis unit in the Home Office where he conducts research on drugs misuse and assists with the development and evaluation of drugs policies.
