About me

Pasquale is Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) of Economics at University of Roehampton London. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy) and has previously held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the London School of Economics, where he has also lectured European Monetary Integration at Master level for three years.

Pasquale’s research is both theoretical and empirical. He studies fiscal and monetary policies interactions in currency unions by means of game theory models in order to rationalize and evaluate the macroeconomic policy architecture in the EMU. Pasquale's theoretical research is also dedicated to the  understanding of the effects of monetary and fiscal policies under waves of optimism and pessimism by means of behavioural DSGE models. So far, Pasquale's empirical research has focused on the stability of money demand, on the relationships between financial markets and fiscal policy, and on the capability of smoothing asymmetric shocks in the EMU.
