About me

Frieder is currently a guest teacher at European Institute, and a postdoctoral researcher with the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics. He is also a Research Associate at the Policy Evidence Unit for University Commercialisation and Innovation (UCI) at the University of Cambridge. His research interests revolve around the intersection of political economy and economic geography, with a focus on how different regions are addressing the challenges of digitization and transitioning to a net-zero economy. 

Frieder holds a PhD and MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from McGill University. Prior to pursuing his PhD, he worked at the LSE Research and Innovation Division and was a trainee at the European Commission.
