About me

Benedetta is a PhD candidate at the European Institute, LSE. She is interested in the place and role of the European Union within the international society. Specifically, her research focuses on how the EU’s inherent multilateralism translates into collective diplomatic and negotiation practices in external multilateral contexts, mainly through a praxeological perspective.

Before joining the European Institute, Benedetta graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s from Sciences Po Paris and with Distinction in the MPhil in Politics in International Studies from the University of Cambridge, where she was supervised by Prof. Christopher Hill. She also holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe. There, her studies were funded by the EU-ENP scholarship and received the prize of the Italian Dipartimento per gli Affari Europei della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri for her performance in the programme. In addition, she worked as a consultant at the OECD, where she took part in the works of the 2021 G20 Culture Working Group.

Benedetta’s research is funded by an ERSC scholarship.
