Double Degree Programmes

The LSE European Institute is proud to offer bespoke two-year double degree programmes with a number of global partners. These programmes are designed for high-performing students from around the world, and complement our standard 12-month master’s programmes. Within each programme, students study a combination of core and optional courses at each institution.

Milan Duomo

Double Masters’ Degree in European and International Public Policy & Politics (LSE & Bocconi University, Milan)

A unique partnership which allows students to study public policy and politics whilst developing their professional skills at two of Europe’s leading universities. Students who complete this programme will obtain an MSc in European and International Public Policy from LSE, and an MSc in Politics and Policy Analysis from Bocconi.

Double Masters’ Degree in European Studies (LSE & Sciences Po, Paris)

This distinctive and prestigious multi-stream European Studies qualification is offered by the leading social science institutions of the UK and France. Students who complete this programme will obtain a Master Affaires Européennes (Master of European Affairs) from Sciences Po, and will have the opportunity to complete one of four MSc programmes at the European Institute.

Fudan University

Double Masters’ Degree in the Global Political Economy of China and Europe (LSE & Fudan University, Shanghai)

This double degree teaches students about global political economy and public policy, and offers a rich cultural experience of studying in both the UK and China. Students who complete this programme will obtain an MSc in the Political Economy of Europe from LSE, and a Master of Management Science in Public Policy from Fudan.

Double Masters’ Degree in European Politics, Conflict and Culture (LSE & Columbia, New York)Launching September 2023 in New York (Year 2 in London, 2024)

This programme introduces students to some of the long-standing debates over the origin and dynamics of modern European politics, economies, societies, and cultures – and how they inform our understanding of conflict in the global context. Students who complete this programme will obtain an MSc in the Culture and Conflict in a Global Europe from LSE, and an MA in European History, Politics and Society from Columbia.

MSc Programmes

The EI offers seven Masters programmes - one of the broadest offerings on Europe in the world. Within each programme, students study a combination of core and optional courses, with around 75 taught courses to choose from.
