Graduating from the Department of Finance at the LSE means joining an exclusive global network of alumni. We believe that the relationship between the Department and our students does not end after graduation: rather, it is the next step in your journey with the Department of Finance and the LSE.
We believe in creating strong bonds between current students and alumni. We have had great success in connecting students with alumni, and also alumni from different classes with each other, forming both professional and personal networks.
What we offer
We organise regular networking events for our alumni, both at LSE and in the city of London. We host occasional Alumni Conferences for alumni of all programmes across the Department. Our LinkedIn community is also ever-growing and we invite you to connect with us. Please ensure we have your latest contact information so that we can send you invitations to our events.
We also offer many ways for you to stay connected to your programme and the Department. As alumni you are invited to take part on alumni panels, attend talks, give presentations, and even mentor current students.
Ways to give back
Our alumni are a cornerstone of our Department. There are many ways for you to continue supporting us and our programmes:
- Volunteer on alumni panels: students are always keen to hear from alumni about their experiences at the Department and in the workplace
- Mentor a current student: students from our BSc and MSc programmes are keen to connect with alumni for careers guidance
- Share your knowledge: some alumni have even come back to give guest lectures and practical training sessions to current students.
- Recruit new students: our alumni are key in recommending applicants to our programmes
Please contact us for more information of how to give back and continue your support of the Department.
