The Department of Finance is pleased to welcome three new members of faculty for the 2012/13 academic session, who will help strengthening both our research profile and teaching expertise.
Dr Stavros Panageas joins the Department as Visiting Professor of Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he is an Associate Professor of Finance. Stavros’s research interests lies within the study of asset pricing and macroeconomics.
Dr Ian Martin joins the Department as a Visiting Reader in Finance from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, where he is an Associate Professor of Finance. Ian's current research focuses on theoretical models of asset price behaviour, and more specifically on comovement between assets, on the valuation of long-dated assets, on the measurement of the equity premium, and on the impact of disasters on financial markets.
Dr Andrea Tamoni joins the Department as a Lecturer in Finance. His specialization and interests lie within the fields of Theoretical and Empirical Asset Pricing, and Financial Econometrics. He obtained his PhD from the Bocconi University.
