Professor David Webb receives the Denis Gromb Award for Outstanding Citizenship in Financial Economics

Professor David Webb of the LSE Department of Finance has received the inaugral Denis Gromb Award for Outstanding Citizenship in Financial Economics at the FIRS conference in Berlin.

The award is designed to recognise those who strive to make the profession better through their mentorship, leadership, dedication, and academic citizenship.

The Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS) established the Award in honour and memory of Denis Gromb, a role model in the profession, especially generous in helping others, particularly junior colleagues and doctoral students. We are delighted that Professor Webb has been recognised by the Finance community for his selfless contribution to the field.
