The Report on Economic, Social and Territorial Cohesion is the flagship publication of the European Commission on the evolution of economic and social disparities between sub-national regions in Europe.
The 8th Cohesion Report presents a first picture of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic at the regional level in Europe. The report highlights that the green and digital transitions will be key drivers of EU growth, but argues that, without appropriate policy action, new economic, social and territorial disparities may appear.
Following Lewis Dijkstra's presentation of the key insights from the Cohesion Report the discussants will highlight opportunities and challenges for public policies when supporting the digital and green transitions in all regions.
