About me

Sevinc is fellow at the Department of Government. She is also visiting research fellow at the Institute of Middle Eastern Studies and instructor at King’s College London.

She completed her PhD at the University of Warwick.

Her research areas are mainly based on comparative politics, party cleavages, electoral behaviour and gender, public policy.

Her current project is on the domestic violence and gender in Turkey, funded by LSE Covid Research Fund and she investigates the role of social norms and coordination elements behind the lack of informal prevention mechanisms in societies.
