About me

Astrid is a political theorist analysing how historical ideas and problems shape current public policy, especially with regards to the legacy of colonialism. First educated in Austria, she holds a BA in History from King’s College London and an MRes in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris. At the LSE she uses recent legal disputes and historical data to analyse how the passage of time affects our judgement of past injustice. Astrid has also worked at UNESCO, the European Commission, the King’s Cultural Institute and the European Forum Alpbach.
