LSE IDEAS Visiting Professor in Practice, Lutfey Siddiqi, has been invited to co-curate the global Banking and Capital Markets Transformation Map for the World Economic Forum this year.
The World Economic Forum hosts a network of “systems maps” across a range of interrelated topics, tracing linkages amongst them and identifying pathways of transformation – constructed in partnership with universities, think tanks, civil society, and international organizations. These maps in turn form the basis for strategic dialogue amongst private and public sector stakeholders, including at the annual meeting in Davos.
Lutfey will help re-conceptualize the Banking and Capital Markets map to reflect the range of extraordinary changes underway right now – reflecting shifts in monetary policy, capital allocation (including ESG-driven finance), regulatory and geo-political backdrop, technology, and business models.
Apart from his roles at LSE, Lutfey is an adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore with joint appointments at the Risk Management Institute and the Business School (Department of Strategy & Policy).
In addition, Professor Siddiqi has been invited to serve a new term on to the the World Economic Forum’s network of Global Future Councils, this time on the council for Climate and Nature Philanthropy.
You can find out more about what a Transformation Map is on the World Economic Forum website.
